Welcome to Nepali Cultural Society of Manitoba website! I am pleased to extend
my warmest greetings to every member of our cultural society and all
others who visit our website.
The
Nepali Cultural Society of Manitoba (NepaliCSM) was founded in 2007 to
promote, practice and preserve the ancient and rich Nepali culture in
Manitoba, Canada. The well-heeled Nepali culture not only has been well practiced
and preserved in Nepal but also outside the boundary of Nepal in various places like
Darjeeling, Sikkim, Assam and Bhutan. It is the hope of the Founders of
the NepaliCSM that the Nepali culture continues to flourish in Manitoba
as is in many places around the world.
It
is my hope that this Website will be a vehicle for sharing information
among the members and the well wishers of the NepaliCSM. The Website can
also become a platform to
promote the goals and objectives of the Society in several forms.
I
would like to thank Raju Timsina who worked hard to set up the website
in 2007, and Hari Prasain, Srijana Uprety and others who have put in
efforts to upgrade and maintain the website.
